Welcome to Games by Kalon. I wanted to write a short blog post to give more detail about what this community is and how we all have a part to play in the great ideas that come out of it.
Games by Kalon has been created by me, Kalon Martin to give game developers, creators and anyone in the industry ideas and inspiration that they can either create or use to expand other brilliant ideas from. I want this to be a hub for aspiring and inspiring people in the gaming industry a like to come to and share their ideas and opinions so that we can all learn, connect and share with each other to make some awesome games.
A lot of my content will be release across several social media platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn. As of today I will be posting daily simple "kick-starters" which are short(ish) posts that explain a game idea that developers and artists can instantly start working on. These will be available on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok. Further to this, every Friday I will be posting a detailed game design on the website that can be downloaded for free by anybody, no strings attached.
In addition to this, throughout the week I will be posting my take on all things gaming industry, this will include: Tweets, Illustrations, Latest tech, Trends, Videos and I will even throw a meme in there for good measure.
Anyway, this is only a short post and I'm sure I'll get to know you all a lot more in the coming months.
